Hi every one ; I have a samsung microwave oven that has stoped heating at all! it seems to work ok ( light, fan, and the timer) but it just dous'nt heat what so ever! I tested the primery circuit and its OK, I also teted the secondry HV transformer and it seems to be OK the only thing that i'm suspecting is the HV capacitor ! thats because there is no voltage intering the magnitron,, and therfor no radiowave is genarated,,,,! I need some info on how to test the HV capacitor please and alos if any othe info in regards to getting this baby its life again. thanks in advance for any of your feed back

dear Samurai Appliance Repair Man I have checked bothswitches on the door laches and both seem to be OK ! but still no heat?? i still suspect the HV capacitor even though it looks OK on the out side but dont have enough info on how to test it more then the abilty to discharge it!

did you check the hi limit tstat on the magnetron? or any other limit tstats ? and or thermofuses?

Dear freinds; thank you so much for all your help posts and after all your instructions and also replacing tha HV capacitor,,,, tha oven is back to life again and as good as ever. once again many thanks to all your help.
