customer said the fan noise comes and goes at various times, quiet to loud enough to wake the dead... I have the diagnostic sheet that I got from a previous post and at the bottom of the sheet they are talking about the " fan noise...I only have part of the reply Page 3 of 6 and I started to reread the posts but cannot find the original post.....the fan is getting the correct d.c. voltage 12.5...... Is the motor bearings going or is the board going belly-up slowly.......I replaced the defrost heater last week, (could not get the refer into forced defrost) and the renter forgot to tell me about the fan noise. Could use a new diagnotic sheet, the old one got wet......

I don't know if the following applies to your model: "Freezer fan noise. Excessive noise can be caused by internal moisture (evaporator fan sounds like it is pulsing/revving to different speeds). If abnormal moisture is present, install the moisture kit WR49X10044. When installing the moisture kit, inspect the evaporator fan and orifice. Be sure the fan is centered in the orifice and repair if necessary." and this attachment: Attachment: REF13-02.PDF (Downloaded 11 times) Last edited on Tue Oct 7th, 2008 03:41 pm by RegUS_PatOff ____________________ The new repair forums==> http://appliantology.org RegUS_PatOff http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oPAY2LsKVEw my video production: “Easter Seals Walk With Me” http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-EBiLyYXMiA |
