What we need to know is your igniter glowing at all times when you start it, or does it shut off and come back on every minute or so.

If your igniter comes on for a minute, then shuts off, and continues to repeat this process, your coils are bad, you have no gas to your unit, or something has clogged the orifice hood where the gas comes out (spider, other critter as we say here in Georgia) Your unit took two different valve assemblies. I believe the coil kit you need is listed below. The coils are located on the valve assm and have a metal cover holding them down. If yours have a plastic plug going to each of them, and the coils are like the ones shown below, one two wire, one three, then this kit is your boy. If there is no plug, and the wires appear to go right into the coil, you will need a different kit. http://www.repairclinic.com/referral.asp?R=154&N=3479 ![]()

Will the Igniter come on again right away if you hit the Start Button again ? Will the Igniter eventually come on again by itself ?

Ignitor will NOT come back on by itself, but if you turn off dryer wait a few seconds and restart, the ignitor will come back on.

The igniter only comes on once? Let it run for a 5-10 minutes or so to be sure. If not, we have to get a meter out and do some checks.

I've let it run for 10-20 minutes with no results, and pretty sure the ignitor only comes on once during the initial start-up.

If you are not with the unit, we probably want to double check. If it turns out it only comes on once, we will need to grab a meter and do some checks. If the unit has a time dry, start it in time dry 50 minutes for the igniter frequency and any checks we might do.

If it comes on and off without lighting, then my prior post and parts shoudl be your daddy. If your igniter comes on for a minute, then shuts off, and continues to repeat this process, either your coils are bad, you have no gas to your unit, or something has clogged the orifice hood where the gas comes out (spider, other critter as we say here in Georgia) Your unit took two different valve assemblies.
