Model #GSS22WGPA WW Got the auger assembly out of the ice bin and taken apart, but I cant seem to get the "teeth assembly" off the shaft. Here is a pic of how far I have gotten: http://i207.photobucket.com/albums/bb131/supaphr33k/auger.jpg I can't tell which part of it unscrews and I'd rather not break anything.

All I can see from the breakdown is an "E" clip at the end of the rod and then the tines should slide off. There could be something else but the breakdown doesn't show it if there is, but nothing should be threaded that I know of.

There are definately threads on the replacement part. Here is a side-by-side pic: http://i207.photobucket.com/albums/bb131/supaphr33k/IMG_0959.jpg

most likely they put some form of glue on the threads. I would suggest getting the end of it good and hot with a hair dryer and then try to loosen it.

Believe reference # 320 on the end is a nut type plastic that has to be unscrewed, look at the slot on the end...might be reversed threads??

Pegi is absolutely right. The threaded nut is reverse threaded. Pay close attention to how everything comes apart and lay the parts down in such a way that you'll know exactly how to put it all back together again. May the Force be with you.

Well I just knew because have rebuilt several of those systems and knew that end plastic part was a nut that had to be removed and seems like I remembered it was reverse threaded.....
