I am considering buying a broken, 2 year old, Whirlpool Duet Front Loader (I am waiting to get the model number from the owner).
She says there is an HF error code and that she called Whirlpool and they think it could be that the hose filters just need cleaning or possibly just new hoses altogether. They told her the costs for this repair could run from $90.00 to $150.00.
I am pretty handy if I have guidance but I have a couple of questions before I buy this washer...
1) Does anyone have experience with an HF error code? Could it be worse than what Whirlpool suggested it might be?
2) Is it something that could be fixed easily by me, with guidance from the good members here on the forum?
Many thanks in advance...
