Hey guys, I can repair practically any name-brand refrigerator, but this LG has me stuck. I have run the smart board entirely through the diagnostic mode and it says everything is OK - hours later a code comes up "Er FF" Model: LRSC26922TT Serial: 407KRPV00464 I have had no luck finding any useful info on the web.... nothing but horror stories about LG. I don't like these machines. ANY HELP IS GREATLY APPRECIATED

Found the answer!! The FF error code indicates that the freezer fan motor is defective. You could also get this code if ice is preventing the fan from turning. Please set up service for refrigerator.

I have yet to see an LG evap fan actually fail, it's always a defrost/freezing issue. You can try to defrost the whole unit but most likely the PCB will need to be replaced with an updated board.

The recall was for the condensor fan motor, you need to replace the mother board and the evaperator fan motor....it is damaged and may run too slow now...replacing the motor board may solve the problem but need to replace both. We have done several of these under warranty...
