Usually on a ERC motorized unit like I believe this one is, the sensor will be bad. Usually the specs are far out enough to not let the door unlock, but not far enough out of calibration to cause a fault code. Start by ohming the sensor, if it comes in considerably higher then the 1100 room temp standard, that's your boy. If not, we will have to check for power out of the ERC to the motor and see which one is FUBAR

New Ball Game. Prior when you stated door would not open after clean, I did not know there was no display. Being a drop in, the cooling fan should of run in clean (probably all heat modes) and I am sure there will be a hi limit in series with the ERC. Powering up the clock to verify it works is a good idea especially when doing your estimate if there is no power there. But then again if you have no power there, correcting why there is no power will do it as well.

TTH what I think happened was that power went out to the ERC when it was in clean, then the cust.could not get the door open .When I look at the wiring diagram I don't see a thermal limit to the ERC,thanks for you reply
