Hey All! Well I just went through the whole registration process, I've never heard of paying $5 to join a forum, but I'm hoping the information I get here will be WELL worth that fee. I have a GE Front Loading Washer model: WCVH6260FWW. About a week ago it just stopped spinning. I did some research and found with the machine and model that when this happens it's one of two things. A) Clogged internal filter. B) Faulty inverter board. I took apart the bottom of the washing machine and cleaned the filter myself. It wasn't too bad, there was not that much muck in there. So I was leaning toward a faulty inverter board. The main reason is we only use the machine once a week and it's only about two years old, just past the warranty of course. I called a repair service to fix it, four days later they stopped by. He said yeah it was the inverter board, gave me a bill for $110.00 to confirm that, and advised me it'd be $216.86 to buy a new one, and that their next appointment was five days from then, and another $50.00 to install it. Well I begrudge paying this $50! I've heard it's really easy to replace the inverter, but I have no idea where to start. I'm hoping someone can tell me where the inverter is located and how to replace it, or at least point me in the right direction. The inverter part number is WH12X10335. Make me a believer! -TiTUS
