The condensing unit is working great, but the blower fan motor is not running inside.
The filters are clean, the blower wheel turns freely by hand, and the A-Coil frosted nicely.
It worked super until the fan failed to come on. I was really happy. It ran quiet, it cooled the house quickly, I though I had a real nice system.
It looks like the control board failed, and my local Factory dealer/installer doesn't carry that part as stock.
I know anything can fail, but a Trane dealer should have the control s on hand for the models he sold. I'll hear from him Monday, or so he said.
I bought this system hoping I wouldn't have to worry about it, or need to learn everything about it. I've got a 10 year warranty and service contract, but that might be worth less than I hoped.
