Whirlpool Range Model# GR399LXHS My customer's complaint: Left front burner stays on hi no matter what you set the switch to. It doesn't fluctutate on lower settings like the other burner's do. My Observations: First the burner seemed to work fine and did fluctuate on lower settings then I turned it off and turned it back on and it showed the problem. No matter how low a setting you choose it stayed on hi (constantly on). In the past i've replace the burner switch in response to this problem and have never been wrong but I think it must have been luck because couldn't it also be the "needle like" sensor sitting in the middle of the burner body? If so, how would one check that? thanks, NCC1701E
