 :):):):):) Was just tapping into your good advise. I have same problem with GE Fridge. Was getting ready to order new solenoid (rusted open). Your heads up  on the possibility of a bad dispenser board and on the heater and insulation issues, as well as how to handle the repair give me ample reason to alter my initial path.  Thank you,:cool::cool::cool::cool::cool:(cause I am from FL)
