BTW Himeros,

I checked and re-checked and came to the conclusion that a refrigeration system (being a one-way heat pump) could well be some 5x more effective in heat transfer than in power consumption... just as I thought I was taught back in school. That is, a refrigeration system consuming 60W electric power could transfer roughly equal to 300W heat out of the cold side, of course provided that the air on the cold side isn't too cold, and not too hot on the hot side.
