 Whenever I press the dispenser I hear a click and then 1/4 sec humming sound.  This happened once before and it magically fixed itself one day, so the frozen door thing sounds very believable.  Can I just open the door and hit the area behind the dispensor with a hair dryer or something?  My freezer is full of stuff that I don't want to lose....
