 Ive got a KLEENMAID KAW651WG3050 (made by SPEEDQUEEN)  washer approx 10 yo which is leaking oil/grease into the tub via the agitator shaft seal

i assume the seal is gone  but what i really want to know if its an easy/economical repair and also if there should be any play in the agitator shaft

ive removed the agitator and drive coupling and if you move the shaft up and down it has about 10mm of play and BY doing this grease enters the tub between shaft and seal
