If the unit is ramping up and down, up and down during the spin diagnostics, you probably have an open out of balance circuit (three switches in series). On your schematic you will have a test that will take you through the testing of this circuit. All the switches should be closed. If the circuit comes back open in your test, you will either have to check each individual switch with a meter, or jump them out one at a time.
