 I have a Maytag atlantis Mav6200aww maybe five years old.

My machine seems to have a similar problem with the tub not spinning as those others that have been posted. 

I tried all of the suggestions that i have read in the other forums.  But my machine is still not spinning.

My belt is fine

My pump is pulling the water from the tank in the spin cycle

The flywheel at the base of the tub is spinning

The agitator is working in the wash cycle

The tub still will not release in the spin cycle with the top of the washer open and trying to force the tub to spin

Please help the wee grasshopper.
