We do things for friends and family and maybe get a bite to eat. Friends bottom freezer : Fins a block of ice have thawed twice , every two weeks about. I have manually turn on defrost timer, no snap , crackel , pop. I put the ohm meter on heater element it registered about 30 if I remember right ( this was last week ). I also put the meter on the leads going to the element from ( I assume ) the defrost timer. The voltage was about ( if I remember correctly ) 220 , I maybe wrong I don't use a meter that often. That was about all I did besides thaw a block of ice. what I want to know , if I am on the right trail , are the readings close, can the heating element be accurately check for a good or bad heating element and what type of readings should I see and don't take anything I have mention as accurate. Thanks for any Info James
