Hello!...I'm new to this Forum, not sure I'm repeating my questions? I did look at the postings that was similar to my problem...some won't open so...here goes! I'm having sandy looking grit on my dishes and the bottom of my dishwasher. It's about 3-4 years old? Had the problem before but, it seems to have cleared itself out until several days ago. I read on your forum that a simple solution could be the dishwashing soap. Yes, I'm using Cascade Gel...I'll not use that anymore! There was also a suggestion of cleaning a filter? Where is this filter and how do I get it out to clean???? **I used CLR when I was having the problem before but, it seemed to have made the sandy crud worse....I just kept running the darn dishwasher to clear the "extra crud" that came out after running the stuff! I live in Southern California if that has anything to do with water hardness etc. Please help! I'm getting Dishpan Hands!........... Thanks in Advance.......... Grand daughter of a Samurai!
