Hi Folks - (yes, I'm still working on the gosh darn dryer!!) I'm at the point where I have replaced the idler wheel and the assembly it mounts on and now need to put the belt back on. Poobah advised me that after the belt is around the drum, the next step is to get it onto the motor pulley, but when I look at what I think is the motor pulley - there is a continuous rod and I don't see how to get the belt onto it. The photo is taken looking down at the idler and motor. A bit of the belt is visible. thanks! oops - thought I made the print large enough on the photo, but I can see I didn't - it's just asking the above question and also double checking which part the belt should go on - I imagine it's the threaded part of the shaft??? thanks again Attachment: how do I thread the belt onto the motor pulley.JPG (Downloaded 21 times) Last edited on Fri May 18th, 2007 10:07 pm by eidling |
