 Here is your motherboard schematic for checking everything my brokedown friend scroll down to the middle of the page....look down in the bottom left corner of schematic  jump L1 to compressor terminal with board unplugged to test compressor

def. sounds as if you have a MB bad though....check the link Pegi posted as GE is doing alot of crazy things with the boards  good  luck...
