Ok, I got the snubber in the mail and am ready to tackle the job. I pulled the washer out to work on it and pulled the front cover off again. Upon closer inspection, the white "Stuff" that was all around the bottom was actually styrofoam bits. I guess the the tub was rubbing up against the two styrofoam pads glued to each side wall.

Also, to be sure, do the sides, back, and top hatch all come off in one piece after removing the torque screws from the bottom (and bolts on the back)? Third, it seems MOST of the electric wiring has quick disconnect clips right near the hinge of the hatch, except one bundle. How are these disconnected?

Scratch that... after snooping a bit, looks like just disconnecting the motor clip will do the trick.

Lastly, all the springs are off now, electric disconnected, ready to remove the tub and motor. Here's the thing... do I remove the belt from under the washer first and remove the assembly from the bottom frame? The above description doesn't mention that. Or do I flip the frame upside down with the tub and motor? Sorry to be so obtuse, I just want to make sure I don't have to slap my forehead later. :-)
