Totally bad karma to have a repair done intending not to pay for it, two wrongs do not make a right.
I just intend to get my money's worth. So I don't consider my action wrong. That's why I asked for the value of the compressor and whether I need it or not. If the value is more (and I need it) I'll pay him a little more, but I'll take my $500 credit paid on the Starter Relay.
He also asked if I noticed the freezer not as cold as it should be. I replied yes, ice cream is soft ... So, what is fair replacement value for freezer compressor, parts and labor? Thanks, Dave
