i haven't seen this one. looks like a seam split. i'd argue this one. all damage may have been caused by the split basket. what else did the 1st guy want to replace? labor should only be 250-275 plus the parts. under the agreement you bought the fix is limited to 500. if it's over that 2 choices pay the difference yourself or take 500 towards a new machine. it still seems as though you are going to shelling out an awful lot of money in a 3year period. squeaky wheel usually gets the oil!!!
