 I whacked, turned and pulled for another 20 minutes, nothing budges. I even tried to use screw driver to pry the gap between the drive block and drum cone. I soaked the gap with oil last night.

I have had this washer since 94. May be it's stuck for good. Or is there something on the bottom that I need to remove? Is there a way to remove the drive block first before the drum? :headbang:
