we eat out a lot, so dishes are rarely used at home and dishwasher may sit for a couple of weeks before there is a need to use it.
what i forgot to mention before was that the last time it was used, an empty jar was put in it. when the jar came out, the label that had been impossible to remove prior to running the washer, was gone. i couldn't find it anywhere in the washer, and figured it had disintegrated. could it be it is in there some where gumming up the works?
