|Wow, you make it sound like Haier is the kiss of death in the appliance world ...... The Sears fella came, didn't bat an eyelash when he saw the unit. He showed where the frost builds up (not indicated at all in the owners manual). Since this has the drawer the cooling coils are between the chest compartment and the drawer. They cool up to the compartment, down to the drawer. The drawer was not seating properly (and had probably been that way since I got it) so an incredible amount of frost was building on the coils.
Now that I have had an education on all kinds of frost and the flakes it makes, and where the darned coils are, plus he adjusted the door, it is looking good, but still not freezing bread solid. Hmmmm.
