Just in case, here's the top of the transmission and clutch.

Mine looks a little different but I don't see anything obviously broken. The cam moves about 10-15 degrees and does make noise at the limits that might be the banging it you put some power behind it. It has some slop around the center. I assume this cam couples to the clutch below and spins the tub. What does it engage with? Just in case, here's the top of the transmission and clutch. Steve
