So sorry my wisdom for you does not come from of a joyful soul.
Often replacing this sort of thing is like going to the dentist in a concentration camp
or listening for the sound of one hand clapping.
There can be other parts also needed to do this evil deed .
How expensive was the range? How old?
If it was cheap or midline unit, I would trash it in a heartbeat.
If it was a thermador or dacor you may wanna pay some poor soul to replace it.
