Make sure the fan shield is correctly in place, the stirrer fan only turns from the cooling fan blowing air thru the magtube and then channeled into the stirrer shield/cover which turn the stirrer fan. You could have worn bearings on the stirrer fan not letting it turn from the air flow or as Gmaxx said, "plugged air inlet", or outlet, (if the air can't get out it won't be able to spin the stirrer fan correctly either). As far as if you have to put more then $70.00 -- That would really be a tose up now as the price of new microwaves are so cheap now days there almost throw away items if they break down.
