First off I want you post some pictures of this dryer with a coupler and a water pump!!!! Just messin with ya......try turning the clutch assembly one way or the other to allow it (spring in side it) to clear the drive cam (white plastic piece on the bottom of spin tube) should let it go up and in then. Also you did take the bolt out of the agitator befor dropping the transmission didn't ya? check back...good luck.........
