Yeah, that stems from the other class-action lawsuit launched a few years ago, regarding thousands of fridges with bad compressors which GE knew were faulty. The courts ordered GE to replace or repair all the affected fridges free of charge. I recall there were a LOT of upset & angry customers over that one. Brand new refrigerators that had compressors go bad within 3 months! Inexcusable and unacceptable. GE, and their entire line of "Profile" and "Monogram" appliances do NOT impress me in the least. If I owned an appliance store, I would actually be embarrassed to market and sell this garbage. I'm surprised they've lasted this long.
