First thing to check is the thermal fuse located on the air duct in the rear of the machine (just after the lint filter.  Pop the back panel off & yuo'll see it on the lower left as you view tha back of the dryer.  Remove the fuse if it's open, replace it, if it's closed, check your ignitor next.  The fuses go more often.

Could also be the timer or coils on the gas valve, though the coils usually will open once to start the cycle, then won't cycle back on.
