 Hi.  Newbie here.  This thread caught my eye because we just bought a new pair of LG's and our washer (WM2277H*) is doing this too.  It only happens during a high rpm spin when there's a really heavy load in the washer.  It's coming from the door latch.  If you apply some pressure to the latch side of the door with your hand while it's squeaking, it goes away.

This is a minor annoyance and as long as I don't have any other problems with the washer, and as long as it doesn't get any worse, I'm just going to ignore it.  This washer is so much quieter than our old top-loader Whirlpool that I don't mind a little squeak now and again.
