I need to replace a burner switch (the pilot light stays on). They are under the glass top. How do I gracefully get the glass top up without breaking it? Can I get it up to get to the switches without removing the entire cooktop from the counter? It seems to be puttied to the countertop and there is no protective edge around the glass. Makes me nervous to pry up on it.
