since this is a fridge only(no freezer) there is also a power supply board that fools the unit into thinking it also has a freezer (both use the same control board)
if this fails, it can also cause the 5 beeps; i know this cause i already had this exact issue drive me nucking futs and indeed it was the power supply....
no way to test the power supply but if the thermistor and wiring harness check good thats the problem.not sure what the resistance should be exactly on the thermistor at room temperature but i will try to find out later (unless reg beats me to it LOL)
