Older front loading washers do not have inertia sensors or software to detect imbalanced spin. In your washer--which is built by Frigidaire--the *damper strut* may be broken. Remove the lower access panel & inspect the struts (one on each side). These act similar to shock absorbers on an automobile. Beginning in 2008---Samsung & LG front load washers have the capability to *cancel out* vibration / resonance during the spin cycle. A very useful feature for consumers wanting a front load washer in their wood floor laundry room.
