 Ok, found the store. Thanks.

 

Since a manual twist of the defrost dial triggers off a (several minute) defrost cycle & since that keeps the ice away for a couple of days, I am going to conclude after all the trouble shooting & help from you guys, that it's defective - even though I replaced it once a couple of years ago.

 

Now before I order parts, is there any other (reasonable priced) part I should throw at this fridge that relates to the defrost issue?

 

Like I said when I trigger it myself it all seems to work , heater coils heat, ice melts to water water drips somewhere & evaporates (no puddle on the floor)
