I'd certainly endorse what my esteemed colleagues are saying, especially on a machine like this with a lot of electronics. Boards are expensive. Also, as kdog says, you WILL be replacing the universal joint on this machine at some point. Ultimately, it's a gamble, as all forms of "insurance" are. You can, of course, elect to put that money into an account of your own for future repairs.
