 Noise:  Sort of rapid tap, tap, tap, tap...or click, click, click

Agitator turns during spin cycle, but interior basket doesn't spin fast like it used to.

I removed cover and tubs.  Lots of lint and gunk between inner basket and outer tub.  Cleaned all that crap out thinking it might be slowing down the spin cycle.

Do you know if tranny for this model has long warranty?  Is tranny hard to replace?  (As you can tell, I am a very handy lady - mechanically inclined)

I'm so darn mad about this, I wonder if I should just buy a new machine??
