.. Now the dryer runs but does not heat. Was that perhaps the heating element plummeting to it's death that I heard? ..
could be .. but first, check and re-set the House Circuit Breakers for the Dryer.
The Timer won't run during the Auto-Dry Cycles if the Heater isn't working...
