The thrust bearing is fine. I had it apart already. There is a big washer, then a smaller washer , then the thrust bearing, another washer, a spring washer, pulley, cam, 2 more washers and then a c clip. The drum will not turn unless I hold the pulley, then turn the cam (with a screw driver). Then I can turn the drum by hand until the cam returns back to position. It will not turn with the pulley. I can turn the pulley ccw as many times as I want, but the cam will not engage. Nothing stops the shaft to engage the cam. Thanks for any help.
