Anyone have the decoding method for newer G.E. product serial numbers to determine manufacture date?

Old serial number format AB123456 first letter = month, second letter = year.
as on this webpage: http://www.appliancefactoryparts.com/applianceshvac/help-center/appliance-age/ge-age.html

New serial#'s

IE. 4G202499P from a G.E. built Kenmore range model# 362.72622302

This site: http://www.appliance411.com/service/date-code.php

tells me, "This product could have been manufactured the 13th week of 1994 or 2004.".

Looks like the first number is the last number of the year built or maybe the second position is still the year, "G" would correspond to 2004 but not to 1994.

From the looks and styling 2004 sounds correct.
