I think I understand, does the timer work the same for both directions or is it different? Which contacts are used in the agitation direction? Ok, makes more sense that the timer would be bad. The start winding is working, it runs in spin. The winding is used for both directions so it is good. I did try the machine in the other 2 wash cycles and it did the same thing. Plus tried all 5 speeds. Always the same thing. I will have to make another cord to try your suggestion. I am going to check the contacts on the timer too. Thanks Steve
