Maybe I'm coming in on the tale end of this one but to answer your questions from you last post the lenth of thermistor wires do not matter, but your temps. Are off. Freezer should be 0 and frige should be anywhere from 34~49 max (generally 36) so if your freezer doesn't get any colder than it is you have a problem
