I just completed this job on my washer. I'm not sure what repairmen etc are saying about leaking. I got new bearings and a new seal and if you have ever done front wheel bearings on a car or such, you can do this job easily. The hardest part for me was getting the inner drum out...you can't be afraid to smack it. (Don't ruin the shaft) Good luck to all and don't be afraid to try this..it's not that bad.
