 I've searched the forum on this and there's some info but I confess to not understanding much of what I'm reading.  Before I simply give up and call someone to come fix it, I really want to see if there's anyone who can walk me through how I can determine the problem and maybe fix it myself.

The first thing that happened is the water dispenser stopped dispensing water. 

Then everything in the refer section started freezing.  I turned down the refer section - no change.  Everything is still pretty much freezing in the part of this stupid thing that isn't suppose to freeze.

Help....

Is there a "fixing refers for dummies" book or something that gives pictures of the parts etc?  I don't even know what a "damper" is.
