The force is telling me your customer is a cheese dork. Here's what I think happened. The guys fridge was leaking. The previous tech found the braided supply hose to the fridge (similar to braided stainless washer fill hoses) was leaking or kinked from being squished behind the fridge. It was probably white plastic little braids painted on the surface. The tech before you got rid of the crappy braided hose and replaced it with copper. Your cheese dork customer would have you believe he was sitting home, minding his own business, when your associate showed up and cut out his perfectly good braided hose. Have your cheese dork customer talk with your service manager. That's why he's getting the big bucks. Is this a service contract customer? What part of the country are you in?
