I see your point but I still don't find it acceptable. My 11 and 13 year old cars haven't lost an engine or transmission (similiar to to the motor/impeller) also if I pay to get this repaired I will have spent $100 for the fuse + $385 for the new pump on a $800 item. This is more than 60% of the the value of the item in 30 months. If I take into account the pump that was replaced under warranty then the repair cost would exceed the cost of the new item. If you spent 60% of the value of your car in 30 months I am sure you would not find that accepatble.
