i have to say that had you called someone in that is familiar with repairing GE products you would have had it fixed with minimal cost and inconvenience. had you purchased that kitchenaid you would most likely be on your second compressor relay and possibly looking at compressor replacement at this age...........just sayin. GE has its fair share of problems but so do all brands....nothing is made like it used to be
