I have a MAH9700AWW that has the classic error and the drum tries to start but only does by cycling the big knob on and off several time. I have the service bulletin that talks about the connector at the motor and my connector / machine is newer than the ones shown and suspect this was the answer to the older connector. Checked it anyway and there are no bent or pushed back pins and the pins connect with full engagement. I'm thinking of changing out the entire control panel and can't figure out how to remove the front panel. It has a single Phillips screw on the right side visible when you remove the soap drawer, but I don't want to break the panel pulling on it. How is this removed gracefully?
